According to the saying, each man must build a house. Must? Every man dreams of building a house from a log house. Fortress, family hearth. And, of course, this house should be reliable and comfortable in order to live in it, as behind a stone wall. House made of stone – a dream … a man can realize it. Therefore, a house made of stone is a reality. The service life of a stone house is at least a hundred years, which means that it is necessary to approach its construction “with a feeling, with a proper, with an arrangement”. To implement such a large -scale dream, it is necessary to carry out detailed preparatory work: careful geodetic research, work out the layout, make calculations, prepare materials and tools. When the preparatory period has been passed, you need to move on to the most responsible stage of construction – the laying of the foundation. The foundation is the basis of the basics. Stone, rapidly far -handed house requires a very durable and stable foundation. Of course, a lot depends on the number of floors, but in any case, the heavy structure of the stone will be constant pressure on the foundation, the shrinkage is inevitable. A hastily made foundation can create big problems: from cracks on the walls to partial wall destruction. For this type of building, a strip foundation is usually used. Thanks to his design, it excludes any skew at home. For a strip foundation, you need to dug a trench up to seventy centimeters depth. If construction is carried out in the northern regions, the depth must be increased to one meter, since the foundation should be below the level of freezing in winter. In order for the trench to exactly correspond to the layout, it is necessary to very carefully transfer it from paper to Earth. In addition to external walls, we must not forget about other supporting walls and pieces. They also need a foundation. Marking is best done using pegs, connecting them with a rope. Dig a trench exactly along the line indicated by stakes and rope. When the trench is ready, it is thoroughly compacted and covered with a 5-10 centimeter layer of crushed stone or sand. If groundwater is too close to your future foundation, it is worth providing a waterproofing layer from roofing material. The next step will be the strengthening of the trench with thick walls, the so -called formwork. It is necessary to strengthen with boards and reinforcement, both from the internal and from the outside. The formwork must be well fixed, otherwise the concrete can break it and reduce all your efforts to zero. To strengthen the formwork through each one and a half meters, you need to install a transverse spacer. A similar approach is a guarantee that the foundation will turn out to be even and will not create problems in the construction of the walls. It is worth remembering that 15-20 centimeters of the foundation should be above the ground level. Reinforcement will perfectly strengthen the construction of the house, will not allow the precipitation of walls. For reinforcement, you need to use the reinforcement, holding it out with a special mounting wire. The reinforcement, for security purposes, should not come into contact with the formwork, so it is most correct to insert reinforcing rods at a distance of 5 centimeters from the edge of the formwork. The last stage in creating the foundation is to fill with concrete. This is a time -consuming process. The main thing is to pour all areas at a time so that voids are not created in the foundation, and the concrete is distributed in an even layer. After the concrete is already poured, you need to go around the entire perimeter of the foundation and by piercing from the concrete to expel excess air. There is also a special construction vibrator for this purpose. The upper layer of concrete should be perfectly even, so the final touch in the work on the foundation should be alignment with the help of a water level.
