There are no big difficulties in installing a water heater with your own hands. Of course, for independent installation of the device, skills in performing plumbing work and drilling will be very useful. It is necessary to connect the water heater to electricity to those who have practical experience of such work.
So, the installation of a water heater with your own hands:
Stage 1. First, it is necessary to outline the installation site of the device. As a rule, the diameter of a typical water heater is about 45 cm, and if the place on the wall expected for installation is not enough, we recommend that you purchase a narrowed water -heating device (“SLIM”) with a diameter of less than 33 cm. In addition, there are accumulative water heaters of horizontal type. This option will be convenient in rooms where the ceiling height is small.
Stage 2. To install the water heater mounts, it is necessary to drill holes. Basically, on the packaging of the device, there is a scheme of the bracket, cutting out which it is convenient to correctly mark places for drilling. Next, the level must be checked by the horizontal of the location of the holes. It must be taken into account that in different water heaters the bracket has a different length.
Stage 3. Installation of the water heater on the wall. An empty heater weighs approximately 25 kg. If it is not too low, the installation of a water heater with your own hands is quite possible for one man.
Stage 4. If the conclusions for the installation of the water heaters are provided, there are fewer problems. Otherwise, it is necessary to look where it is easier to insert the water supply to the network.
Stage 5. Connection to the mains. There are two connection options: to the apartment network and directly – to electrical panel. It is optimal to invite an electrician if the connection seems difficult.
