The maximum crop is one of the main goals of almost all farmers and gardeners, and a variety of ways are used to achieve it. One of them is the use of a greenhouse. A well -constructed and high -quality greenhouse can provide a higher crop of familiar garden plants, and will also grow more thermophilic plants that do not like our climatic zone.
Film greenhouses
The covering of the greenhouse can be different. For a long time, film greenhouses were very popular, which was largely associated with the small cost of a roll of polyethylene film, but such a greenhouse caused many troubles. For the winter it must be removed, and in the spring it is pulled again, its service time is small – a maximum of two years, although it most often does not withstand this period. As a result, the owner must spend his time, nerves and money to care for the coating or its replacement.
Glasses are glass
Another species – glass greenhouses. Glass covering the structure does not need to be removed for the winter, it is more durable and durable than the film, but on the other hand, it is quite expensive and remains fragile material. Due to one careless movement, you often have to redo the entire wall.
Polycarbonate greenhouses
Now manufacturers offer cellular polycarbonate as a greenhouse. This material is not afraid of atmospheric influences, does not deform, does not beat, passes the light well, and it almost does not miss the heat, which makes greenhouses made of polycarbonate light and warm under any conditions, namely light and heat are necessary for plants to give a good harvest.
Now many gardeners and farmers replace their greenhouses with polycarbonate. For a more effective “work” of the greenhouse, it should be located in a place where sunlight is approximately the same throughout the daylight day. If it is planned to use the greenhouse in winter, then it is worth providing additional lighting. For this, fluorescent lamps are used.
