Flooring on the balcony largely depends on the purpose of the room. If you want to use the balcony as another living room, then the floor will have to be insulated. If the space is something else, then everything is done wrong.
Let’s start with the second option. Suppose you want the balcony to be a place where you can ventilate, see what is happening on the street, or think to use it as a place of storage of any reserves, or just still cannot afford to warm the area. If the floor of your balcony is covered with boards that are in good condition, you can simply leve the floor a little if necessary and lay linoleum, including insulated. In another case, the floor is dismantled to the base, that is, to the concrete surface, waterproofed with mastic, aligned with the help of a self -leveling mixture, and the selected coating is laid down. It can be a tile, insulated linoleum, but usually use a tree. Since increased humidity can be observed on the balcony, we choose a moisture -resistant plywood as a coating or stitched boards treated with means and mold and mold. It is not recommended to use chipboard, since this material does not apply to moisture resistant, and no amount of varnish will prevent moisture sooner or later find the way. When the flooring is completed, you can lay one or another carpet coating.
How to make a warm floor on the balcony? For this, after dismantling, waterproofing and alignment of the floor, a heater is placed on it, for example, a foam, foam, etc. D. If you make a wooden floor, then you first need to fix the bars with a thickness of 50-70 mm and lay the insulation between them. When using tiles, such a base is not necessary. In this case, the insulation is poured with a screed and the tile is already placed on it. In some cases, it is possible to install a warm electric floor, which is laid before installing the tiles.
