Cartridges are very convenient to operate and more and more mixers are produced with this design. This is due to their simplicity, reliability, rare cases of breakdown, in comparison with their predecessors.
The only minus here is that if the cartridge is drunk, it will have to be replaced completely. In order to do this, you should bite off a plastic plug on the mixer handle, which will open a hole with which you can find a fixing screw. This screw must be unscrewed and remove the mixer handle. After that, the decorative details of the mixer should be removed to open a nut that presses the cartridge. The nut needs to be twisted, pulled out the cartridge and check the state in the state of the sealing gaskets at the end. In the event that it is possible, replace them. After that, most likely, the crane will stop dripping. If this does not help, replace the entire cartridge completely. When the work is completed – perform the mixer assembly in the reverse order.
