For the first time, the production of laminate began in Sweden back in the 80s. Since then, the main share of the manufacture of this flooring has been on European countries. And recently, China has become an enviable competitor, other Asian countries gradually began to connect.
Laminate production technology is a complex multi -layer process, which consists of the following main stages:
– Production of chipboard or fiberboard tiles. As raw materials, a tree is used, which is cleaned of the bark and chopped into chips, which are subsequently heated and turned into fibers. Special additives, resins, antiseptics and paraffin are interfered with the resulting wood -fiber mass and dried. Then all this is laid out on machines and pressed. After all this, the formed plate is subjected to grinding and calibration.
– Impregnation of the upper layers, which includes the process of impregnation of all layers of the plate with various additives and tar to improve its qualities in strength, moisture resistance and wear resistance.
– Lining the finished slab, which consists in giving the necessary external appearance of the laminated surface by applying special products and melamine or acrylic resins during the heating process of the plate. As a result, it turns out to be structured and smooth.
– Sicking and milling of laminated panels. Necessary to give the desired size by laminated plates. Using milling into them, a spike and a groove are cut out, which form a lock.
– Package. This final process includes cleansing the surface of the manufactured laminated board and its further packaging on special equipment.
Thus, due to such a complex multi -stage process in the production of a laminate, it can often be confused with parquet or parquet board.
